MAKING LOGO

Following are some useful references that i found on Pinterest.com. These really helped me to developed and created many sketches for my logo. My idea is coffee cafe.

Based on my idea of coffee cafe, i want to make a simple logo which named "Marina Cafe". When i think of coffee cafe, first things that came in mind is a cup of coffee. I used my name, "Marina" to symbolized my identity to created my own brand. Below are ideas that i have done.

Logo Description :
I want to make a logo for a café. Café is one of the perfect place to meet for drinks, hangout with friends or have a light meals. The design for my café logo is a cup of coffee with my name, Marina, overlay the coffee cup. There is also three smoke-alike which represent the aroma of warm, refreshing, and awakening smell of coffee that makes ours coffee lovers to relax.

As for the color of my design, I choose the color that related to coffee which is brown or cocoa color. I have used three colors; Desaturated Dark Orange, Dark Orange, and Brown Tone. All the colors represent “comfort”, “relaxing”, “welcoming”, “sophistication”, and such down to earth.

RESEARCH OF LOGO

Coca-Cola, or sometimes known as Coke, is one of the most popular carbonated soft drink in the world. Coca-Cola is owned and manufactured by The Coca-Cola Company. First introduces as a patent medicine when it was formulated by John Pemberton in the late 19th century, where the beverage was purchased by a business magnate, Asa Candler in 1887. Candler was the one who rose the Coke brand as one of the most famous beverages on the planet.

1886 - What's in a name?
When John Pemberton created the formula for his new drink, his partner, Frank Robinson, suggested the name Coca-Cola. He wanted to create a unique logo to go with it, and experimented writing the company's name in elaborate Spencerian script, a form of penmanship characteristic of the time.



1887-1890s - Inserting the "Trademark"
These two important little words were added to the tail of the first 'C'.





1890-1891 - Extra swirls
For just one year, the logo changed its appearance quite dramatically with extra swirly script. Then, the logo returned to its previous font.





1941-1960s - Tail tweaked & A fishy shape
In this version, the words 'Trademark Registered' moved out of the tail of the 'C'. Afterward, the introduction of the Arciform or 'fishtail' logo.




1969 - That famous white wave
The Arden Square logo was unveiled to the world. In this red box, the familiar Coca‑Cola script was underlined with the iconic white ‘wave’ known as the 'Dynamic Ribbon Device', which is still used to this day.

2003 - Keeping it real
With the introduction of the 'Coca‑Cola... Real' campaign, the logo 'S' white 'wave' was enhanced with a shock of yellow and some floating bubbles.
2007 - A classic design
A simple yet bold design with a single white ribbon.

2011 - 125 years of happiness
Coca-Cola's 125th birthday logo sees bubbles bursting from our famous Contour Bottle - a celebration of our past, present and future.





Information About Coca-Cola Logo

The Coca-Cola logo is much like the beverage itself, widely regarded as one of the most instantly recognizable logos ever created. The earliest version of the corporate logo was designed in 1885 by Frank Robinson, John Pemberton's partner. He thought that the two 'Cs' would look great in advertising and so he came up with a visually appealing handwritten typeface, called "Spencerian script".

Colors of the Coca-Cola logo is red and white. The red and white color scheme in the Coca-Cola logo is simple, playful and distinctive to attract young audience. Red color symbolizes passion, determination, youthfulness and vitality, and white color represents the charm and elegance.
