Our assignment is to make THREE quote posters using our own fonts. Below are the posters that I have done. First poster is a quote from Creflo Dollar, an American televangelist and a pastor. The second quote I got from "Mary Poppins", and the third quote I got it from one of my favorite Disney's movie, "Up".

COMIC COVER

The process of making my comic cover. I'm making a comic cover of "Spiderman". Nowadays, I have been immersed with Spiderman. That's why I decided to do this piece. These 3 photos are the process of editing 2 to 3 images in Photoshop. After that, placed the image into Illustrater to add on the title of the comic. 

Belows are the comic covers that has been done by me and my fellow friends.

MOVIE POSTER TYPOGRAPHY

For my typography's movie poster, I had make two movie posters; "The Hunger Games" and "The Amazing Spiderman 2". The reason why I choose those movie is because I love the movie. I like the stories and the actors. I used sans-serif font for both posters and I also did clipping mask on both posters. On each letters for the Hunger Games's poster, I put faces of the main actors. As for the Amazing Spiderman, the "SPIDERMAN" literally shows that it is the Spiderman's movie.

     

These are the posters that has been done by me and also my friends. A lot of efforts has been put into these project. And so, here are the results.

QUOTE POSTER

Our last week typography's work. Making a poster yeahhhh. These are me and my coursemates piece's. Mine is the one that says, " I AM NOT A MONDAY PERSON ". Seriously who's wasn't a Monday person, we are one HAHAHAHHAAHHA ! Even Garfield hates Monday.

DIY LETTER I AND O

Another diy alphabets that I'm making during the raya breaks. I really miss my home XD Well since I'm home, I try and practice making this work. So, this is my letter "I" using serif font typeface and the letter "O" using the sans serif font. I make it using colored paper and then draw polkadots onto it. I believe that this design are suitable for children departments, candy shops, and also for the arts and crafts.

DIY 3D ALPHABETS

This are the DIY 3D alphabets that were done by me and my coursemates for the Typography class with Mr Jay Lim. Each of us (students) must create two alphabets; must be a serif font and a sans serif font. Making these 3D letters are very fun but it is hard to make it because lack of the folding techniques and so on. However, we nailed it yeahhh.

The typography artworks using serif and sans serif fonts out of newspapers. This helps me to determine which is the serif font and sans serif fonts. Plus, understanding the usage of both typeface in all type of media. Serif font is an ancient / old yet a classy font, while sans serif is very modern, young and fresh.
